The walkway leading into the building have a number of cracks, dips and rocks that could cause a hazard to people entering, especially those with strollers or wheelchairs. There is no caution tape or cones around the areas that could possibly cause someone to trip and fall.
The walkway as voters exit the building also have a number of holes, ditches and rocks that could cause someone to fall, especially as it gets dark. Polls are open until 8 p.m. this evening.
Patch spoke with a representative from Public Works who said the director, Doug Arndt, was not available. The representative said they would relay the message to Arnt, as well as Building Official Gary Boughton.
