Tonellis, a landmark Bethel restaurant located on Grassy Plain Street for almost 30 years has new owners.
Franco Zuluaga and his partner Michael Lofrumento purchased the Italian Restaurant in May. Frano is a no newcomber to the restaurant industry, he also owns Tivoli in New Milford and Franco’s in Brookfield. They are very excited to be in Bethel.
They have no major plans to change the restaurant but to continue the reputation Tonelli’s has had. They plan to create a private dining area for parties, and they are building a temporary stage for the dining room for occasional entertainment. They will continue catering and takeout services.
