The Connecticut Office of the Arts has announced grant opportunities for various art programs to aid those with interests in arts.

Elizabeth L. Mahaffey Arts Administration Fellowship (FY17)
Supports emerging and mid-career arts administrators in Connecticut as they pursue professional development and other opportunities that will advance their careers in arts administration.

Supporting Arts in Place (FY18)
Operating support for eligible arts organizations and municipal arts offices to strengthen the state's non-profit arts industry. Matching grants provide funding allocations derived from organizational data and are calculated by a mathematical formula.
Program guidelines and application will be available on January 23, 2017.
Deadline: March 15, 2017
Education Grants (FY18)
Supports teaching and learning in, about, and through the arts through high-quality arts engagement, arts integration, arts exploration and discovery experiences.
Program guidelines and application will be available on January 23, 2017.
Deadline: Rolling for Access grants ($1,000 each); March 15, 2017 for other Education grants
Project Grants (FY18)
Supports arts-based projects that demonstrate artistic excellence and are in alignment with the Office of the Arts' Relevance, Equity, Access, Diversity and Inclusion (READI) Statements. (See "What is READI" below). Matching grant requests range between $5,000 and $15,000.
Program guidelines and application will be available on January 23, 2017.
Deadline: March 22, 2017
Regional Initiative Grants (FY18)
Supports arts-based projects that demonstrate artistic excellence and are in alignment with the Office of the Arts' Relevance, Equity, Access, Diversity and Inclusion (READI) Statements. (See "What is READI" below). Funding of projects are regionally distributed throughout the state with partnership support from Regional Service Organizations. Matching grant requests range between $1,000 and $4,000.

Artist Fellowship Awards (FY18)
Recognizes the artistic excellence of Connecticut artists of all disciplines.

Deadline: May 17, 2017
Connecticut Arts Endowment (FY18)
Operating support for non-profit arts organizations who raise a minimum of $15,000 in private contributions over two consecutive years as verified by its IRS Form 990 or Form 990-EZ.
Program Guidelines and application will be available on November 1, 2017.
Deadline: December 15, 2017
