Coronavirus CT: Infection Rate Remains At 3 Percent
26.5 percent of the patients hospitalized with the coronavirus in Connecticut are fully vaccinated.
CONNECTICUT — After spiking to a 6-week high on Tuesday, the daily Connecticut COVID-19 positivity rate dipped slightly overnight.
In the latest numbers released Wednesday afternoon by the state Department of Public Health, another 533 cases of the coronavirus were confirmed. With 17,585 tests taken, the Connecticut's daily coronavirus positivity rate is 3.03 percent.
Hospitalizations rose by two beds overnight. Two hundred and thirty-four patients are currently hospitalized with laboratory-confirmed COVID-19; of those, 62 (26.5 percent) are fully vaccinated.
