Coronavirus CT: Hospitalizations, Positivity Rates, Drop Slightly
Reported hospitalizations dropped by 10 beds overnight, according to the state Department of Public Health.
CONNECTICUT — Hospitalizations and the positivity rate both dropped in the latest set of daily coronavirus numbers provided by the state Department of Public Health.
An additional 609 cases of the coronavirus were confirmed Tuesday in the state, bringing that total to 341,571. With 23,455 tests reported, the daily positivity rate now sits at 2.60 percent, down about 0.40 percent from the previous day.

Coronavirus-associated deaths across the state rose by seven on Monday. The COVID-19 death toll in Connecticut now stands at 8,124.
