Danbury Job Fair To Feature More Than 50 Local Employers

A career fair sponsored by the Connecticut Department of Labor (DOL) and the Danbury Chamber of Commerce will take place on Wednesday, September 12 from 11:00am – 3:00pm at the Ethan Allen Hotel, located at 21 Lake Avenue Extension, Danbury.

Some of the businesses that will be in attendance include Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals, Charter Oak Insurance and Financial Service Co. and ESPN Radio.

The fair will feature over 50 local employers, and also offers job seeking resources, including:

• Nationally certified resume writers available for resume critiquing
• Information on education and job training programs
• Access to CT JobCentral - the DOL’s electronic job matching system - which is part of the nation’s largest internet employment network
• Veterans services specialists
• Career opportunities available with State Agencies
