Debate Over Police Station Funding Open to Public

Additional funding is needed to purchase new furniture​, complete the firing range and finish landscaping.

BETHEL, CT — The Board of Finance will meet again tomorrow evening to debate whether the selectmen’s recommendation to use about $889,000 from the fund balance to cover the overrun in the $13.5 million budget.

The additional funding is needed to purchase new furniture, complete the firing range and finish landscaping.

The meeting will be open to the public, and will begin at 7 p.m. Wednesday in Meeting Room A of the municipal center.
