Driver Extricated After Crash Into Pole In Bethel: Fire Officials

Emergency crews freed the occupant after the crash and transported them to the hospital, officials said.

BETHEL, CT — A person was extricated and taken to the hospital after a crash involving a vehicle and a utility pole in Bethel,fire officials said.

The Stony Hill Volunteer Fire Company and Bethel Fire Department responded around 11:30 a.m. to a reported crash with entrapment.

Crews began extrication upon arrival to free the trapped occupant, who was then transported to the hospital with advanced life support, officials said.
