Drug Take-Back Program Operates Year-Round

Drop boxes are located in Bethel and other local police departments.

The Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection announced that a number of municipalities now have, or will soon have, medication drop boxes. The boxes are secured in the lobby of the police department, and are accessible anytime the department is open.

The Bethel Police Department is located at 49 Plumtrees Rd., Bethel.

Residents can drop prescription medications in the box and leave with no questions asked. Ridding the home of harmful or outdated prescriptions keeps homes and teens safe.
