EClips on 6 is Collecting Items for 100+ Families Who Lost Everything in New Year's Eve Fire
A Bethel hair salon is collecting items to help over 100 families rebuild after they lost all of their belongings in an apartment fire.
The owner of a Bethel hair salon, EClips on 6, is collecting items to donate to families who lost their belongings in an apartment fire in Bridgeport on the morning of New Year’s Eve.
Approximately 120 people have been displaced due to the fire and the owner of the hair salon is organizing a collection of the following items to help the families rebuild:
- Children’s clothing, coats, and toys
- New socks and underwear (all ages, genders, and sizes)
- Men’s/women’s/children’s winter coats
- Bedding
- Winter clothing
- Hats/scarves/gloves
- Toiletries for all ages/genders
- Small, individually packaged snack/food items
- Pet food and items

Those who wish to help may drop off items Friday, Jan. 8 between 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. or Saturday, Jan. 9 between 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.
EClips on 6 is located at 11 Stony Hill Road, Bethel, CT, right next to Target off Exit 8 on I-84.
