New Bethel Toastmasters Demonstration Meeting

Toastmasters International, a nonprofit educational organization that teaches public speaking and leadership skills through a worldwide network of clubs is on its way to establishing a new cub in Bethel.

Regular meetings are scheduled for the first and third Monday of every month from 7:00-8:30 PM, in the Community Room of St. Mary’s Church, 26 Dodgingtown Rd (Route 302), Bethel.

Our first meeting will be Oct. 3.  There is no entrance fee and the general public is invited.  This first meeting will be a demonstration meeting for our guests to experience the scope of what Toastmasters has to offer.  Included in the session is Table Topics, which builds “thinking-on-your-feet” skills, a Prepared Speech presented by a fellow Toastmaster, and various other roles designed to hone speaking and leadership skills.
