Fire Alarm Pulled at Bethel High School Lands Juvenile in Hot Water

A high school lunchtime prank has led to the arrest of a Bethel minor.

On Nov. 9, a 15-year-old Bethel High School student pulled the fire alarm during lunch at approximately 11:40 a.m. and now faces charges.

On Nov. 10 the juvenile was issued a summons to appear in juvenile court for falsely reporting an incident and breach of peace, according to the police report. The alarm disrupted school and caused an evacuation of students and faculty.

Police reviewed video footage to identify the student.
