BETHEL, CT — The company which is renovating Rockwell and Johnson elementary schools hopes to rent the former police headquarters for the next two years, the News-Times is reporting.

Rizzo Corporation would pay $1 per year, as well as telephone, internet and the removal of snow and garbage under the terms of the proposed lease agreement. The Plumtrees Road location would be a convenient spot for Rizzo crews to park and store equipment.

The lease will be discussed at a public hearing at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, ahead of the budget proposal vote in the cafeteria of the middle school.
