Fresh, Locally Grown Veggies Available at Holbrook Farm at Discounted Prices

Lynn and John Holbrook of Holbrook Farm have retired and the new Bethel farm owner is offering freshly grown produce at discounted prices.

Thinking of buying fresh produce for your holiday entertaining? Then hurry over to Holbrook Farm on Route 53 in Bethel while they’re offering produce at a discounted price.

For decades John and Lynn Holbrook, owners of Holbrook Farm, have offered fresh, locally grown produce, hosted Farm to Table dinners and provided the community with healthy, natural foods. They recently retired and the new lesee, Jessica Wong has taken over the farm.

Jessica Wong posted the following message on the The Bethel, Ct Forum - A Social, Economic and Political discussion page:

“Hello everyone! Hope you’re all geared up for the holidays! My name is Jess and I’m the crazy person who’s decided to continue running Holbrook Farm, right here in Bethel.

I’m working hard on trying to get this farm ready for next season, but we’ve hit a couple of snags and could use your help! We’ve got to temporarily shut down our coolers for maintenance so...

For the next two days before Christmas we’d like to offer our awesome hometown fresh grown greens from our greenhouse (pay what you can)! As long as you enjoy them, I’m happy.

I would really love to meet more Bethel residents and have y’all enjoy our greens!

We are at 45 turkey plain rd in Bethel, RT 53 heading towards Redding.

9-2 tomorrow and Wednesday only!! (Before we open officially in March)

We’ve got salad greens, some herbs and braising greens. Come check us out!!

Call 203-792-0561 if you have questions!”

Wong told Patch that she is leasing the farm from the Holbrooks as they are out of the country enjoying their retirement.

Patch will update readers on Grand Opening plans for the spring as we receive more information.
