Gilleoghan Irish Dance Expands to Second Bethel Storefront and More Locations

After a busy month of National Championships in Montreal, Canada, entertaining hundreds at Bethel Summerfest and teaching three weeks of Irish dance camp, the owners of Gilleoghan Irish Dance were happy to share some exciting news.

Philip Owens and Terry Gillan, co-owners of Gilleoghan Irish Dance, announced the recent opening of a second dance studio located at 162 Greenwood Avenue in Bethel, just a few doors down from their current location of 170 Greenwood Avenue.

The expansion will allow them to accommodate their ever-growing schedule of classes and will enable them to take in more students. Gilleoghan Irish Dance will now be offering classes 7 days a week in a number of towns in the Greater Danbury area. 

Classes are available for ages 4 and up, beginner through advanced, in the following towns:

In Bethel:

  • Gilleoghan Irish Dance, 170 Greenwood Ave., 7 days a week
  • Gilleoghan Irish Dance, 162 Greenwood Ave., 7 days a week
In Danbury:
  • Greater Danbury Irish Cultural Center, 6 Lake Ave., Wednesdays
In New Fairfield:
  • SAS School of Dance, 117 Route 37, Wednesdays and Saturdays
In New Milford:
  • New Milford Parks & Recreation, Mondays (Call for location)
In Ridgefield:
  • Day and location coming soon!
