HVCASA Drug-Free Schools Committee Plans Workshop

From the HVCASA Regional Drug-Free Schools Committee:

HVCASA and the Regional Drug-Free Schools Committee present the 10th annual Parent Awareness Workshop- "The Growth Mindset" on Thursday April 7th. The event will be held at the Ethan Allen Inn, 21 Lake Avenue Extension, Danbury, CT from 8:30 a.m.-2:00 p.m. Dr. Shari Robinson will provide information based on the book Mindset by Carol Dweck. A Drug Free Schools Committee panel discussion will follow regarding strategies that foster self-esteem and build resiliency in our children, paving the way for success. Lunch is included and a representative from Byrd's Books will be there selling Mindset and other books with similar themes. We will be collecting a small fee of $10 per person (cash or check).
