UPDATE: Ice Closes Bethel Road to School Buses for Rest of Week

BETHEL, CT — The road closed to bus traffic on Tuesday and Wednesday will now be closed the remainder of the week, the News Times is reporting.

A chronic drainage problem, coupled with this past weekend's sudden freeze, has made Taylor Avenue too treacherous for school buses to navigate. The buses for the Berry, Rockwell, Johnson and middle school students will be picked up at either end of the road.

The road remains open to regular drivers.
