Interstate Lumber donates to Housatonic Habitat ReStore

Doors & Windows for sale at ReStore

Interstate Lumber of Bethel has recently donated more than two dozen solid pine pre-hung doors and casement windows to Housatonic Habitat for Humanity and its thrift warehouse.

According to Construction Lead Kent Rohrer, Board of Director's President, "We are pleased to continue our relationship with Interstate Lumber and welcome their support to our affordable housing mission." Interstate has been involved in the construction of Housatonic Habitat's last two homes in New Milford. Interstate's Jason Kirsch said, "We know that home is indeed the key for many of those in the communities we serve and we are pleased to be part of building homes for work-force families."

For more information about Housatonic Habitat's ReStore warehouse, visit www.housatonichabitat.org/ReStore. ReStore, a 10,000 square foot warehouse, is open to the public and offers new and gently used windows, doors, kitchen, and other household items. Sales help Housatonic Habitat build work-force homes for local residents.
