June M. Peters, 77, of Bethel, Passed Away Saturday

June Mary (Stevens) Peters, age 77 of Bethel, CT, died Saturday, June 6, 2015 at Bridgeport Hospital. She was the wife of Thomas A. Peters, Sr.

She was born May 12, 1938 in Danbury, CT, daughter of the late George and Ethel (Brock) Stevens. She was a graduate of the Danbury Hospital Nursing Program and was a Registered Nurse for 40 years. She was a member of St. James Episcopal Church in Danbury, and a member of the St. Barnabas Nursing Association. June loved to travel, visit family and was a very generous and giving person.

In addition to her husband of 46 years, she is survived by her son: Thomas A. Peters, Jr. and his wife Patricia of New Milford, CT; sister: Marion Zelno of Danbury as well as several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Bethel VNA, 70 Stony Hill Rd., Bethel, CT 06801 or to the Bethel American Legion Post 100, P.O. Box 100, Bethel, CT 06801.
