Local Real Estate Company Hosts Sale to Benefit Off The Streets
Real Living Scalzo group Real Estate is hosting a “Junk in the Trunk” tag sale to support the Danbury Chapter of Off The Streets, on Saturday October 21st in their parking lot located a 2 Stony Hill Road in Bethel.
For a $20 donation, people can sell goods out of their car trunks from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and there is no fee for shoppers. Local radio stations, I95 and KICKS 105.5 will also be on hand with giveaways. Parking spot registration is required by calling 203-790-7077 or email jbarczak@scalzogroup.com.
Founded in 2009, Off The Streets works to get homeless people with a source of income into permanent housing by assisting with security deposits and furniture/household goods. Entirely staffed by volunteers, they have placed over 500 homeless people into permanent housing in the greater Danbury area.
