Latest Bethel Coronavirus Update: 10 Confirmed Cases

The state now has 875 confirmed coronavirus cases, 113 hospitalizations and 19 deaths

BETHEL, CT — The state Department of Public Health has confirmed there are 10 cases of the new coronavirus in the Town, as of Wednesday.

First Selectman Matt Knickerbocker said the COVID-19 patients are under the care of their personal physicians and following the treatment and home isolation guidelines as recommended by the Centers for Disease Control.

In what was the worst single day of deaths attributed to the virus, Gov. Ned Lamont reported there are 875 confirmed cases, 106 hospitalized and 19 deaths. Fairfield County continues to see the majority of cases with 546 positive results; New Haven County has the second most at 127.
