LETTER: Bethel Resident Supports Allie-Brennan

To the Editor

Valued elected officials have several things in common. They listen carefully to constituents’ concerns. They acknowledge when they’ve misspoken or acted rashly, especially on social media. And above all, they respond promptly and courteously to constituents’ calls, emails, or social media messages.

This is why I am supporting Raghib Allie-Brennan for State Representative of the 2nd District, which includes my hometown of Bethel.

I know that Raghib will respond to phone calls or social media messages. He will be responsible to his constituents on why he’s voting the way he is. He will have specific answers about what he’s doing for my hometown. He will treat social media with care and discretion. He will be thoughtful and deliberate when interacting with his constituents, those who agree and disagree with his positions. He will represent all of us who live in the 2nd District.
