LETTER: Bethel Resident Supports Allie-Brennan

To The Editor:

Although national politics dominates the headlines, it is our local and state politicians who truly make a difference in our daily lives. District 2 (Bethel/Redding/Danbury) deserves to be represented in Hartford by someone who is knowledgeable about our local issues, and we need someone who is willing to work hard. Luckily, Raghib Allie-Brennan is just that candidate. His robust campaign this summer and fall—one in which he has knocked on over 7,000 District 2 doors—clearly demonstrates his willingness to meet his constituents and engage in meaningful discussions about the issues that affect us all. Raghib is talking the talk AND walking the walk. He is authentic, engaged, intelligent, inclusive, and forward-thinking. In my 20 years in Bethel, I have never met a candidate as ready and willing to get to work as Raghib. Let's send him to Hartford to give our district the representation it deserves. Vote Raghib Allie-Brennan for State Representative on November 6!
