Man Dies After Car Bursts Into Flames on Route 53 in Bethel Monday Night
Bethel police said the man hit a tree at 11:30 p.m. Monday night on Route 53 near the Redding border.
BETHEL, CT — The Bethel Police Department are investigating the cause of a fatal crash on Route 53 on Monday night, according to The News Times.
A driver was killed after his car hit a tree on Route 53 and caught fire, police said. The victim’s identity is being withheld until police notify of his next of kin.
Any witnesses are asked to call Officer Jason Broad at 203-743-5500, Ext. 206.
