Man Gave Alcohol to 3 Teen Girls, Sexually Assaulted One at Bethel Hotel: Police

A Danbury man gave alcohol to three teenage girls and sexually assaulted one of them at a Bethel hotel.

Bethel police arrested a Danbury man on Tuesday who gave alcohol to three teenage girls and sexually assaulted one of the minors.

Galo Alvarez, 33, of Danbury, was arrested on Nov. 17 for the incident, which occurred in June at Howard Johnson’s Hotel in Bethel. Alvarez was charged with first-degree sexual assault, risk of injury to or impairing the morals of children and three counts of delivery of alcohol to minors, according to the police report.

Police arrested Alvarez on a warrant and set his bond was at $100,000. He was held at Danbury Superior Court and arraigned.
