Marion Elizabeth Fantin, Formerly of Bethel, Passed Away

Marion Fantin, born May 17, 1911 in Bethel, passed away June 30. Calling hours and a funeral service is planned for Tuesday, July 7, 2015.

Marion Elizabeth Fantin, a long time resident of Danbury, passed away June 30, 2015 at her home in Danbury surrounded by her family at the age of 104. Marion was born May 17, 1911 in Bethel, CT the daughter of the late Dante and Agatha (Stefanacci) Piacente.

She was one of five siblings who have predeceased her. She was a homemaker who loved flowers, enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family, and was a kind and caring woman who will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her son Edward D. Fantin and his wife Sandra of Brookfield, one grandson Edward J. Fantin and his wife Cindy of Kingsport, TN five grandchildren, Holly Stephanie, April, David, and Hannah , also survived by one great- great grandchild and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and her siblings she was also predeceased by her husband James Fantin.

Friends may call at the Green Funeral Home 57 Main St., Danbury on Tuesday July 7, 2015 from 10:00 am to 11: 00 a.m. A graveside service will follow at St. Peter Cemetery at 11: 30 a.m. In lieu of flowers the family would like contributions to be made in her name to Masonicare Home Health and Hospice 147 Toddy Hill Rd.
