Mysterious 'Bethel Rocks' Artist Spreads Joy Through Surprise Gifts

A mysterious gift is being left at the doors of local businesses. Alice Hutchinson, owner of Byrd’s Books on Greenwood Ave., said she found a rock at her store with the words “Bethel Rocks” painted on the back. The rock has a picture of her logo, a cute little bird, painted on the front.

So far, the hidden little treasures have been appearing all over the downtown area at the following businesses:

• Byrd’s Books
• Gilleoghan Irish School of Dance
• Sat Nam Yoga
• The Toy Room
• English Apothecary
• John Fulton Jewelers
