Near Bethel: Local Businesses Join Forces to Help Less Fortunate with Toy and Food Drive

The 32nd Annual Toy and Food Drive is planned for Nov. 23 and sponsored by Danbury's Haymond Law, CT Cruise News and Bennett Automotive.

The 32nd Annual Toy and Food Drive with Don Clady and Friends is being planned for Sunday, Nov. 23 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Bennett Automotive, 295 Danbury Road (Rt. 7) in New Milford.

The event is hosted by Connecticut Cruise News Minuteman Riders, and is sponsored by Haymond Law, Connecticut Cruise News and Bennett Automotive.

The indoor event will take place inside the dealer’s showroom in the new Santa’s Workshop.Volunteers will collect new, unwrapped toys, non-perishable food items, health and beauty aids and care package for the troops. They will also collect care packages for homeless veterans.

This family-friendly event includes photos with Santa, candy canes, a coloring contest with prizes, raffles and more. Christmas and gift items will be on sale. Free admission.
