New Bee U Learning Center Features Long Time Child Care Staff
In a fresh new space, the established staff looks to the future.
On Saturday, the Bee U Learning Center held their Grand Opening and ribbon cutting to celebrate their new space. Although the Center originally opened its doors on August 1st.
Most of the close knit staff has worked together at the Gingerbread School House, and are excited to have their new home at the former Bright Horizons on Park Lawn Drive at the Berkshire Corporate Park.

The building has been been given a facelift and looks brand spanking new. Eilene Mello, teacher of the four year olds, said, “Just moving into this building has been great! It's such a nice location, and the local community is just great. This has been an exciting move for us.”
The program features kindergarten readiness and includes creative arts and music. The open space is set up to feel both open while having spaces divided by low walls to allow different groups of children to focus. The large outdoor play area features many climbing activities, riding toys and room to run around. There is a room with cribs that is slightly separate from other areas, but also close enough to be seen the play area.

Sally Redman teaches toddlers, three and four year olds. She said, “It is a unique edge to be near the corporate park. Children can be close to the parent's jobs, and we are also convenient for the local community.”
Despite the damp weather, prospective parents joined Bobbi Jo Beers, Bethel Chamber of Commerce, Rep Dan Carter, R, and the staff of Bee U Learning Center for the ribbon cutting.
The Center accommodates children from three months to twelve years old. The school bus picks the older children up at school and brings them to the center where they can do homework, work on a computer, or participate in activities with the other children.
