New Hook Increases Driver Safety and Storage Capacity

Nitmoi Products, LLC Invents New Auto Headrest Hook

A Connecticut company has introduced a new hook that helps to eliminate side window obstruction while driving and also increases your vehicle’s storage capacity.  Nitmoi Products, LLC of Bethel, CT reports that its new “Handy Hooky” automobile headrest hook safely hangs garments that would otherwise hang from your car’s factory installed hooks, which tend to block side window visibility.  Users of the product can also hang grocery bags, gym bags and purses safely and securely from any headrest, which easily doubles your car’s storage capacity.  The patent pending ”Handy Hooky” is universal for use in any vehicle.  The new hook will be marketed and sold through retail stores, as a promotional product and online on the company’s website.

A one piece assembly, molded entirely of durable polypropylene plastic, the hook is very strong and can be hooked onto the front or back of a headrest support bar.  “I wanted to invent something that was very simple in design and easy to use,” President Vartan Khazadian says.  “The driver doesn’t need to remove the headset to install the device.  Simply hook it to the headrest, and you can instantly hang items,” Khazadian says.

Khazadian says, “Business people can safely hang their suit jacket or dry cleaning.  Busy parents can fit many more items in their cars.  Everyone can hang their sport water bottles that won’t fit in the cup holder and end up rolling onto the floor.  The response from consumers has been positive, and we are looking to increase our retail presence and sign on new distributors.”  He adds, “Tell your grocer to carry Handy Hooky!”
