New Website Helps Residents 'Discover Bethel'

The Bethel Chamber of Commerce and the Office of Economic Development have joined forces to develop a new community website to promote the town, community and local businesses. The new website, Discover Bethel, will launch this September.

The community website will include information on Bethel’s businesses and other community resources. According to the Chamber, it will include Bethel’s history, things to do, events, a directory of dining, shopping, services, and places to stay, and be the launching point to the town and Chamber websites.

Local businesses contributed to cover the cost of developing the website. The website’s sponsors are: 4 Seasons Landscaping, Best Western/Microtel, Clarke Business Park, Memry Corporation and The Insurance Center.

Bethel’s Director of Economic Development Janice Chrzescijanek said the community website will make Bethel more attractive to new businesses and provide them with information on resources available and the quality of life.
