Obituary: Fran Caso, 72, of Bethel

BETHEL, CT — Fran Caso, resident of Bethel, died on October 20, 2018 after a long illness.

Fran is survived by her husband Bill and her four children, Stephanie Weller, Andrew Caso, Paul Caso and Julia Rossini. She is also survived by her nine grandchildren, her mother, Frances Haynie, and her brothers Paul Haynie and Ted Haynie.

Fran was born on June 14, 1946 in Baltimore MD. She grew up in Maplewood NJ, lived in the Boston area after marriage and moved to Bethel in 1980. Fran was best known for her outgoing personality, her unique communication skills and her many friends.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Maplewood at Newtown and also Regional Hospice for their unwavering support during this trying time. Calling hours will be held at Honan Funeral Home on 58 Main Street, Newtown CT from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, October 25th. A Funeral Mass will be held at the Church of St Mary in Bethel at 10 a.m. on October 26. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in memory of Fran to Regional Hospice and Palliative Care of Western CT, 30 Milestone Road, Danbury, CT 06810.
