SOUTHBURY - Josephine Schneider, 87, formerly of Bethel and West Palm Beach, departed this life on November 12, 2018 at the Lutheran Home of Southbury. She was the beloved wife of the late Raymond Schneider.

Josephine was born in Yonkers,NY on March 6, 1931 to the late John and Bridget (Terry) O'Brien.
Educated in the Yonkers school system, Josephine worked for Miller Stephenson Chemical Co. prior to her retirement. She had been a member of the Bethel Council of Catholic Women and the Stony Hill Fire Department - Women's Auxiliary.

Josephine is survived by three children: Ray Schneider and his wife, Carol, Gary Schneider and his wife, Gloria, and Laura Bennett and her husband, Keith; two grandchildren, Kira and JR Schneider; her brother, Bernard O'Brien and his wife Marion of Florida; and several nieces and nephews.
