Obituary: Pamela Jane Surovy, Of Bethel

Pam loved animals, going to car shows, and was very lucky with scratch-off lottery tickets.

BETHEL, CT — Pamela Jane Surovy of Bethel, passed away peacefully on June 8, 2021 at Danbury Hospital. She will be greatly missed by her fiancé, Donald Murphy of Bethel.

Pam was born October 22, 1946 in Danbury to the late Andrew and Rita (Coffee) Palardy. She worked as a Clerk for the Danbury Superior Court for 24 years. Pam treasured her family, especially her children and grandchildren. She loved animals, going to car shows, and was very lucky with scratch-off lottery tickets.

In addition to her beloved “Murph”, Pam is survived by her children: Andrew and his wife Kate of New Fairfield, Andrea and her husband Walt of Danbury, and Brian of Southington; 11 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and her cherished cats, Mischief and Minnie. Pam was predeceased by her siblings: Andrew Palardy, Jr., Marita Palardy, and James Palardy.

Visitation will be Wednesday June 16, 2021 from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 3:30pm at Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White St., Danbury. All are asked to please wear a mask.
