Obituary: Pasquale "Pat" Bellantoni, Of Bethel

Pat was an army veteran of the Korean War who met his future wife while stationed at Kelly Barracks in Stuttgart, Germany.

BETHEL, CT — Pasquale "Pat" Bellantoni passed away peacefully at his home on March 29, 2022. He was born June 18, 1931 in Port Chester, NY. He was the son of the late Antonio and Santa Galli Bellantoni.

Pat was an army veteran of the Korean War. While stationed at Kelly Barracks in Stuttgart, Germany, he met his future wife, Renate Freudenberger Bellantoni. They were married on June 17, 1956 in Port Chester, NY and moved to Bethel in 1968 where they spent a wonderful and happy life together.

Pat is survived by his wife Renate, his beloved children, Anthony (Eileen), Sandra, Randal (Nicole) and as Opa to his cherished grandchildren, Megan (Ben), Mathew (Tiffany), Alyna, Lucio and great grandchild Indie.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Pasquale will be held Saturday, April 9, 2022 at 10:00 AM at St. Mary Church, 24 Dodgingtown Rd., Bethel, CT 06801. Following the mass of Christian burial, there will be a burial at St. Mary Cemetery, Route 53, Grassy Plain St., Bethel, CT 06801.
