Obituary: Postal Worker Paul A. Doto, Jr, Of Bethel
Paul had a 42-year career with the U.S. Postal Service

BETHEL, CT — Paul A. Doto, Jr, 73, passed away peacefully at his home in Bethel. He was the husband of Lorinda A. (Pane) Doto.
Paul was born in Danbury on Dec. 25, 1947, a son of the late Paul F. Doto and Josephine Geary Jamieson. He attended Danbury schools and was a 1966 graduate of Danbury High School.

In 2012, Paul received an award from The Danbury Old Timers Association as an outstanding baseball pitcher for four years at Danbury High School. He enjoyed playing organized softball in the local Industrial League and the Polish Club.
Paul began bowling in the junior league at about age 10 and continued for nearly 60 years until he was sidelined by an autoimmune disorder in 2015, just one year after retirement from a 42-year career at the U.S. Postal Service in Danbury.

Besides his parents, Paul was predeceased by his brother, John W Doto. In addition to his wife of 35 years, his survivors include his sons: Paul R. Falciglia (Melissa) of Bordentown, NJ and Ryan K Doto (Ashley) of Danbury. His grandchildren: Michael, Alyssa and Addison Falciglia. Also surviving is his brother, Mark S. Dangaard of Danbury.A Graveside Service will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, March 26, 2021 at Wooster Cemetery (sec. 21), Danbury, CT with the Rev. Norm Guilbert, Pastor of Sacred Heart Church in Danbury.
