“It’s election season and I’m happy to see that there are some great candidates on the ballot this year. One of those is Cynthia McCorkindale, who is running for Board of Finance.
Cynthia is one of the brightest people I know. She has worked tirelessly for years as an advocate for the Bethel taxpayer. She keeps track of Town projects, and if she senses any impropriety, she will research it thoroughly and then pursue resolution via the appropriate channels. She is knowledgeable about our Town Meeting form of government, the Bethel Town Charter, as well as the Connecticut General Statutes. She has served on the Board of Education, so she is very familiar with the annual budget process.

She never allows the process to become personal, and backs up her statements with solid documentation of fact. Cynthia is a critical thinker, and, if elected, would deliberate thoroughly before she casted a vote.
Honestly, I cannot think of a more qualified candidate for the Board of Finance. On Tuesday, November 3rd, I will be voting for her.”
