Dear Neighbors,
Bethel needs a First Selectman, like Matt Knickerbocker, who has the knowledge and skills to run a $70 million dollar organization. The First Selectman is the CEO of the town. He undertakes capital planning, union contract negotiations, and oversees town projects.

Will Duff has no skills or experience for this job. Prior to taking office in 2009, Matt Knickerbocker worked for a multi-billion dollar consumer products company, managed million dollar budgets, trained and supervised staff, and negotiated contracts.
Since he was elected, with the exception of weather delays, no town-managed projects have been behind schedule. There have been no “cost overruns” on any town project. Town employees have begun switching to high-deductible health savings account insurance plans and traditional pensions have been replaced with 401K-type plans, all which will save us money.

Please re-elect Matt Knickerbocker for First Selectman.
