Pet of the Week - Homer
Homer is looking for his forever home! He is available for adoption at the Danbury Animal Welfare Society.
My name is Homer and I’m a one year-old Shepherd/Collie mix, and a huge fan of “The Simpsons” – how about you? I’m a super-adorable and long-legged guy who came to DAWS all the way from Kentucky! I’m an energetic guy who loves to run and play with toys! I love to play by myself but I’m learning that it can be fun to play with people too! I’m a smart guy – I already know “Sit” and I know I can learn lots more, especially if hot dogs are involved! It takes me a few minutes to get comfortable around new people so I’m hoping my new family will be willing to let me get used to things at my own pace!
Homer is available for adoption at the Danbury Animal Welfare Organization, located at 147 Grassy Plain Street in Bethel, CT. Even if you are unable to adopt Homer, you can still help him find his forever home by sharing him on your own social media pages, and letting others know about this wonderful dog! Thank you! For more information about DAWS, visit us at http://www.daws.org or like us on Facebook at http://Facebook.com/DAWSpets. Please note a slight change in our Dog Program Adoption Hours. The Dog Program will be closed on Monday and Tuesday nights. We are open Wednesday - Friday from 6PM - 8PM, and from 2PM - 4PM on Saturday and Sunday. We apologize for any inconvenience this change in the schedule may cause.
