Public Hearing for Proposed Affordable Housing in Bethel is Dec. 8

A public hearing is planned for proposed affordable housing units at 49 Taylor Ave. in downtown Bethel.

Bethel Planning and Zoning is holding the public hearing on Dec. 8, 2015 at 7 p.m. at the Municipal Center, 1 School Street, in Meeting Room D. An earlier meeting was planned for Nov. 10.

The meeting will be to hear the proposal for the owner of the property, Timothy Draper, for the building containing 8 residential units for the Affordable Housing Statute of the Connecticut Section 8-30g. The Planning and Zoning Commission will hear comments from the public, however the public cannot vote.
