Quota will collect and distribute donations to Brotherhood In Action of Bethel by March 31.

Press Release from the Bethel Public Library:

The Bethel Public Library is partnering with the Quota Club of Candlewood Valley for “Quota Cares Month.”

From Feb. 17 to March 23, Bethel Library patrons and visitors will have an opportunity to help our neighbors in need by making donations of practical, nonperishable items via the Quota Club Pantry Box Project.

It’s easy and convenient to help! There will be a bin located inside the Bethel Public Library on the main level to make donations during Library hours. A list of suggested, most-needed items is now available at the Library’s service desks. The expiration date for donated food items must be after May 2015. Quota will collect and distribute the donations to Brotherhood In Action of Bethel by March 31.

As an added benefit of making a donation, for every item donated, up to $2 in fines will be waived when Bethel Library materials are returned in good condition. Please note that amnesty does not apply to fees for lost or damaged materials. Even if you don’t owe any fines, your generosity is needed and will be greatly appreciated.
