Rep. Dan Carter to Ring the Bell for Salvation Army on December 17th

DANBURY -- State Representative Dan Carter (R-2) will be volunteering to raise money for Danbury residents in need by collecting for the Salvation Army at the Danbury Wal-Mart this Wednesday, December 17th.

All proceeds will be generously matched by Walmart dollar-for-dollar during the hour Rep. Carter will be collecting.

This will be the second year Rep. Dan Carter is ringing the bell. Last year he helped raise $3,209.08, contributing to the $76, 643.28 raised over the past four holiday seasons by the House Republican Caucus for the Salvation Army with the help of Wal-Mart.

Rep. Carter welcomes you all to stop by the store located at 67 Newtown Road, Danbury, between 12:00pm and 1:00pm on December 17th to help make the fundraising event a success!
