SantaCon Returns to Bethel

BETHEL, CT — Lock up your elves and reindeer: SantaCon returns to Bethel on Sunday.

The controversial Christmas-themed pub crawl is scheduled to begin at noon at House of Yoshida. Revelers proceed through five more taverns and restaurants before their spree ends at 6 p.m.

Participating locations will be accepting donations for Brotherhood in Action, who play a crucial role throughout the year in the collection and distribution and food to Bethel's less fortunate residents.

Last year drinkers dressed as Santa Claus, his helpers, and his hangers-on raised nearly $1,500. Event organizers hope to raise $2,000 this year.
