Shoe Service Moving Down the Road

Shoe Service Plaza on Stony Hill Road will be moving up the street to a new location by mid summer, moving to a larger store with a lower rent according to Felipe Guamantari, who owns the shoe repair store with his brother Fausto.

The store is going from its current location at 78 Stony Hill Road to nearby 68 Stony Hill Road. Though only a short way away, the new location will add more than 1,000 square feet of space at a fraction of the monthly rent, Guamantari said, stating that rent at the current location tripled last month.

Guamantari said they have already made up a new logo and sign under the name SSP Shoe Repair and expect to open for customers in early July once they finish setting up the new storefront.
