Sprouts Vietnam Opened on Monday
The new Vietnamese eatery opened for business on Monday, Dec. 28 at the Bethel Village Square plaza.

Sprouts Vietnam announced Sunday that they will open their doors on Monday, Dec. 28 at 6 Elizabeth Street, Bethel, Conn.
Owner and chef Duong Morris lived in Vietnam until she was 25 and went to culinary school in Ho Chi Minh City. During the last 10 years that she has lived in the U.S., she’s adapted her style to the American palette, but still roots her cooking in traditional Vietnamese.
On Sprouts’ Facebook page she shares about starting the new business:
“Everyone that knows me understands that cooking is what fits best for me. That is why I felt relief quitting nursing school, and choosing the path that I have always put my heart and soul into. I am lucky to have a husband who supports, helps and is also my co-owner of Sprouts. I am lucky to have two young daughters who understand that mommy and daddy are busy, and who have spent LOTS of time at Sprouts without complaining. I am lucky to have friends who always support and help me when I am in need. I am lucky to land my very first business in Bethel where everyone is so friendly and nice. All I can say is thank you everyone for helping me, supporting me and I cannot wait to start serving food to the public. Please don’t hesitate to give out comments, suggestions or even critics so I can make Sprouts better everyday.”
Sprouts is located at 6 Elizabeth Street in the Bethel Village Square plaza. Hours of operation for opening week are as follows:
- Opening Day - December 28
- Hours: Mon - Sat: 11-7
