Stand-Up Comedy Comes to Bethel

Four comedians from New York City, New Jersey and Connecticut will perform live on stage in the parking lot of the Bethel Metro-North Station and Daily Fare Bakery on Saturday, Oct. 17. Doors open at 7 p.m., and the show starts at 7:30 p.m. Daily Fare concessions will be available before and during the show. Rain date is Oct. 18. The Bethel Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring the event.

Tickets, which are limited, are $20 per person and must be purchased in advance through Eventbrite: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/b... . Recommended for age 18 and above. The Chamber recommends that attendees bring lawn chairs or other seating in order to properly socially distance six feet from other parties. Mask-wearing is required.

Featured will be Alex Grubard, who has performed sketch comedy on Comedy Central and College Humor and has been heard on Sirius XM. He regularly works at premier comedy clubs throughout the country. Tony Liberati delivers energetic and charismatic observational humor that connects with all audiences. He has been on ABC’s “America’s Funniest People” and has opened for Gilbert Gottfried, Artie Lange, Ben Bailey and more at Caroline’s on Broadway and the Ridgefield Playhouse.

Jordan Jensen has been featured on Sirius XM and has participated in comedy festivals in Memphis, Nashville and Asheville. Her comedy is comprised of stories of her lesbian mothers, her pot-head father and her promiscuous sister. Finally, Robert Dean, originally from Bridgeport, was named a New Face at Just For Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal in 2018. He has been a Comedy Central “Comic to Watch,” and he recently released his first stand-up album “(It’s Not Easy) Being Dean.”
