Take a Walk in Their Shoes Walkathon Benefits the Homeless

The 3rd Annual Take a Walk in Their Shoes Walkathon benefits Bethel's Morning Glory breakfast program.

The 3rd Annual Take a Walk in Their Shoes Walkathon is being organized to benefit the Morning Glory Breakfast Program, a program that feeds the hungry and homeless.

According to Catholic Charities, It is estimated that people experiencing homelessness walk an average of 3 miles a day.

The event will be held on October 3, 2015 and takes place at Meckauer Park, 16 Shelter Rock Road, Bethel, CT. The walk will be held rain or shine.

Registration starts at 9:30 AM with the walk starting at 10 AM and going until 12 noon. The Green Grunion food truck will be on site to serve breakfast and lunch and there will be family-friendly entertainment.
