Troop 54 Celebrates Their Scouts’ Achievements at Court of Honor
Scouts BSA Troop 54 celebrated their fall Court of Honor last week.
BETHEL, CT– Scouts BSA Troop 54 celebrated their fall Court of Honor last week. Scouts were recognized for earning merit badges in Pioneering, Music, Emergency Preparedness, and Wilderness Survival. Two Scouts, Levi Tufts and Carter Rosbergen, were awarded their Tenderfoot rank and recognized for serving as Den Chiefs to Cub Scout Pack 156.
A ribbon was also presented to the troop for winning second place in the Powahay District’s “Spook-a-Ree” Camporee held from October 27-29.
Troop 54 has participated in some exciting activities together during the past year, from earning their Railroading merit badge at the Danbury Railway Museum, to a Metalworking merit badge at Old Sturbridge Village, winning second place in the Scatacook Klondike Derby, and spending a week this summer at Camp Sequassen.

Scouts BSA provides the nation’s foremost youth program of character development and values-based leadership training, which helps young people be prepared for life.
The troop meets on Mondays from 7:00 to 8:15 PM at the Stony Hill Preserve at 67-69 Stony Hill Road in Bethel. The troop welcomes boys in grades 6-12 to join. Please contact Roger Eberlin at rogereberlin2@yahoo.com for more information.
