UPDATE: Services Will Stay on While Crews Work to Repair Water Main Break

Contractors are working to repair the water main break which occurred on Tuesday in Bethel.

Update as of 2:30 p.m. from Matt Knickerbocker:

Repair work continues on the Hoyt’s Hill water main and no service interruptions have been necessary, contrary to the town’s earlier report. The repairs needed have been found to be more extensive than previously known, however, and work is expected to continue at that location for the remainder of the week. Water service to area customers will remain on while work continues. If a service interruption becomes necessary to complete the repairs, residents will be notified in advance via robo-call.
