What You Need To Know About Bethel Water Main Cleaning Project

Water may become discolored. Here are some tips from Aquarion.

BETHEL, CT — Aquarion Water Company announced it will be cleaning water mains in Bethel from Oct. 22 to Oct. 26 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Customers may notice some water discoloration, which comes from settled minerals being stirred up. Aquarion advises customers to store tap water in their refrigerators for drinking and cooking and not to wash laundry when water is discolored.

Before resuming use customers should run cold water faucets until water comes out clear.
